Molded from lightweight aluminum and fitted with a simple-to-read pressure indicator, the durable valve assembly is designed for years of service. The strap bracket lets you mount the extinguisher in an easily accessible place so it’s always ready for an emergency. The easy-to-pull safety pin gives you quick access and an ergonomic, rust and impact-resistant steel handle provides a remarkably comfortable grip. Contains 2.5 lbs. of monoammonium phosphate fire-extinguishing agent. Note that the dry chemical agent in this fire extinguisher is non-toxic but may cause skin irritation. Place a fire extinguisher within easy reach and on every level of your home where fires are more likely to start. Residential, single-use only. Protect your home with Kidde FA110 Multi Purpose Fire Extinguisher 1A10BC. We recommend at least one fire extinguisher for every 600 square feet of living space. This fire extinguisher contains monoammonium phosphate, a dry chemical extinguishing agent that is nontoxic, inhibits re-flashing of the fire, costs less and is more effective than carbon dioxide, and is not easily dispersed by air currents. Note: Not recommended on computers or similar equipment. Easy to use on a fire: just remember the “P-A-S-S” method. Pull the pin on the fire extinguisher, Aim the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire (stand 6 feet from the fire), Squeeze the handle of the extinguisher, and Sweep the extinguisher left to right while aiming at the base of the fire.
